Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global (RSG) has joined forces with Zain to unveil the world’s pioneering zero-carbon 5G network. The announcement took place at the prestigious Six Senses Southern Dunes resort.

Exclusively crafted for The Red Sea, this revolutionary 5G network exemplifies the resort’s commitment to innovation.

Focusing on the intersection of technology and environmental sustainability, this network ensures high-speed 5G connectivity for guests, all while being powered entirely by renewable energy sources.

This renewable energy is derived from over 760,000 meticulously installed solar panels spread across the vast 28,000 square-kilometer destination.

“We aim to lead the global charge in regenerative tourism development, adopting 100 percent renewable energy at our flagship destination, The Red Sea. The project, featuring innovative 3D printing technology, focuses on three core objectives: environmental conservation, emission reduction through renewable energy, and minimizing visual impact.

Inspired by the natural rock formations of the resort’s surroundings, the towers seamlessly blend into the environment.

Anticipated to welcome its inaugural guests later this year, The Red Sea is poised to become a thriving tourism hub.

Comprising 50 resorts, over 8,000 hotel rooms, and more than 1,000 residential properties spanning 22 islands and six inland sites, this destination epitomizes sustainable luxury.
