Saudi Arabia’s Guinness World Record Sustainable Farm

Saudi Arabia Sets Guinness World Record with Largest Sustainable Farm

Saudi Arabia has achieved an extraordinary milestone in agriculture, as its pioneering demonstration farms in Wadi Bin Hashbal, Asir region, have been recognized by the Guinness World Records.

These farms now hold the prestigious title of being the largest in the world in terms of area. Covering a total area of 3.20 million square meters, they are divided into two parts, each equipped with a 500 cubic meters concrete tank for water storage and advanced automatic irrigation systems for all crops.

The sustainability of this farm is remarkable, relying on treated water for crop irrigation. The entire irrigation process is carried out meticulously by a team of experts and specialists, ensuring the highest agricultural standards.

With 50 fields dedicated to fruit trees and 20 fields for various other crops, this farm cultivates a wide range of produce. Notable crops include lemons, oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, grapes, figs, almonds, and olives. Additionally, the farm hosts experimental fields that showcase diverse agricultural varieties.
