Saudi Arabia’s Ceer Awards Contract for $1.3bn Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Facility

Ceer, Saudi Arabia’s pioneering electric vehicle brand, has awarded a major contract worth SR5 billion ($1.3 billion) to construct an advanced electric vehicle manufacturing complex at King Abdullah Economic City.

Key Highlights:

  • Contract awarded to Modern Building Leaders (MBL)
  • Facility spans over 1 million sq m with 530,000sq m under roof
  • Dedicated zones for vehicle production, logistics, and more

The state-of-the-art complex will encompass various production stages, including press shop, body shop, paint shop, and general assembly, in addition to dedicated zones for logistics, waste management, offices, and a vehicle test track.
