Saudi Arabia has extended its e-visa eligibility to citizens from eight new countries, including Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, South Africa, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Visitors to the kingdom can now avail of this e-visa for purposes related to tourism, business, visiting family and friends, and Umrah.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism aims to welcome the world by expanding the issuance of visit visas and streamlining the visa issuance procedures, either electronically or at KSA ports, to provide an unforgettable travel experience.
The e-visa is valid for an entire year, allowing multiple entries and a stay of up to 90 days. However, it’s essential to comply with the specified duration of stay to avoid penalties. Please note that a visit visa does not permit tourists to work for a wage or perform Umrah during Hajj. Additionally, the stay during the multiple-entry visa type is shorter, so plan accordingly.
