About the Role
Guildhall is running a search for a mid-to-large civil contractor delivering high-rise, commercial and industrial building projects across the UAE. This Site Engineer will sit inside an existing project team, owning day-to-day technical coordination, procurement input and documentation on a live build. The client needs someone who can step onto site quickly and run daily coordination with foremen and subcontractors from day one, not someone learning the ropes. It's a seat on a running project, with real ownership of quality, schedule and subcontractor performance from the outset.
The role
- Support the Project Manager on manpower planning, procurement and site mobilisation
- Implement the construction programme and track manpower and material outlooks monthly
- Review construction drawings and resolve discrepancies with engineering and consultants
- Monitor subcontractor work for quality, schedule compliance and safety
- Attend consultant inspections and manage follow-up actions
- Prepare as-built drawings and complete project documentation on handover
