Procurement Assistant – Mandarin Speaking

Guildhall is hiring for a large contractor delivering major projects in the region. You will act as a coordination link between the project team and local and international suppliers on site. The procurement function is scaling to handle increased supplier volume as the project progresses. This is a hands-on junior seat: quotes, purchase orders, supplier follow-up and document management.

The role

• Source quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative analysis for procurement decisions.
• Chase suppliers on pricing, availability, delivery schedules and order status.
• Prepare and manage purchase requests, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Translate procurement documents and supplier correspondence between required languages.
• Liaise between site management and local or international suppliers.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, evaluations and procurement trackers.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, commercial and logistics teams on material delivery.

What you'll bring

• Fluent Mandarin (reading and writing essential); strong written and spoken English.
