Hiring a General Foreman in Dubai
A General Foreman in Dubai typically sits between the Site Manager and multiple trade-crew Foremen, owning daily work planning, manpower forecasting and safety compliance on live high-rise builds. This hire signals a project in active construction rather than pre-construction planning. Companies running large construction projects need this seat filled with hands-on trade leadership rather than oversight-only roles.
Common questions
What does a General Foreman do in Dubai?
A General Foreman coordinates several trade crews on a construction site, turning drawings and specifications into daily and weekly work plans. They manage manpower, materials and safety compliance, and report progress directly to the Site Manager. On high-rise towers this means keeping multiple trades working to schedule at the same time.
What experience do I need to apply?
You should have 7-10 years' experience specifically on high-rise tower projects, with a trade certificate or hands-on background in a core construction trade. Experience planning multi-crew manpower, reading technical drawings, and a clean safety record are all expected. Direct main-contractor site experience is preferred over consultancy-based roles.
