About the Role
Guildhall is hiring on behalf of a fast-scaling holiday home management company building out its landlord portfolio across Dubai. This Business Development Manager role owns landlord acquisition end-to-end — from first meeting to signed management agreement — before handing over to operations. The business adds managed units every month on a commission-based model, and this hire is the main lever behind that growth. It's a pure sales seat: no portfolio management, no guest-facing service, just landlords found, pitched and signed.
The role
- Convert inbound landlord enquiries into signed short-term rental management agreements
- Source new landlords through networking, referrals, investor groups and direct outreach
- Meet property owners, assess units and advise on rental earning potential
- Present tailored proposals covering furnishing, styling and revenue improvements
- Hand over signed landlords to operations for onboarding, pricing and guest management
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline and monthly onboarding targets
What you'll bring
- Proven Dubai sales track record in real estate, leasing, property management or hospitality
- Ability to build and close relationships with landlords and property investors
- Confidence presenting commercial proposals and negotiating management terms
- Track record of self-generating pipeline, not just converting inbound leads
- Disciplined CRM habits and organised pipeline management
- UAE market knowledge of locations, property types and landlord expectations is an advantage
What's on offer
- Basic salary plus uncapped commission tied to units onboarded
- Inbound lead flow and marketing support alongside self-sourced business development
- Operations team handling onboarding, housekeeping, maintenance and guest management
- Room to grow within a business scaling its managed-unit count

Hiring a Business Development Manager in Dubai's holiday home market
Dubai's short-term rental sector has grown as landlords weigh holiday-let income against standard yearly tenancies, and management companies compete on how quickly they can bring new units onto their books. A Business Development Manager in this space typically works landlord-facing: sourcing property owners, assessing earning potential, and closing management agreements before handing the property to an operations team. The role is judged on units signed and pipeline quality, not on guest service delivery, which makes it a distinct discipline from account or portfolio management roles in the same firms.
Common questions
What does a Business Development Manager do in Dubai's holiday home sector?
They find and sign up landlords who want to let their property as a short-term rental instead of a standard yearly tenancy. This covers meeting property owners, assessing the unit, presenting a commercial proposal, and closing the management agreement before operations takes over.
What experience do I need to apply?
A proven Dubai sales record in real estate, leasing, property management, hospitality or holiday homes is expected. Strong candidates can build landlord relationships, negotiate terms confidently, and generate their own pipeline rather than relying only on inbound leads.
