Operations Manager

Guildhall is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our client's team. A startup property management firm specializing in short-term rentals, our client is seeking a leader who can ensure the smooth operation of their holiday homes, foster positive guest experiences, and drive business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Empower team members to take ownership of their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and support to team members.

Guest Relations:
• Oversee all aspects of guest relations, including check-in/check-out procedures, responding to guest inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a memorable and positive guest experience.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, including personalized guest communication and relationship-building initiatives.

Business Development:
• Drive business development efforts to expand our holiday homes portfolio and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance our market presence and drive business growth.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Listing Management and Platform Expertise:
• Manage property listings across various platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimization to drive bookings and revenue.
• Serve as an expert in the platforms utilized for holiday homes, staying updated on new features and best practices to maximize listing visibility and performance.


• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or vacation rental industry, with a strong emphasis on operations management and guest relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, team members, and external partners. Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving business development initiatives and achieving results.
• Proficiency in property management software and online booking platforms.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
