Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has been created for an Operations Manager to be part of the formation of a new school in the UAE. This role would involve working directly with managing partners in a flat corporate culture.
Primary responsibilities:
• Coordinate of all processes and procedures related to the opening of new school
• Understand and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations for opening a new
school; this includes but is not limited to, licensing, safety regulations, and educational standards.
• Oversee the design, construction, and preparation of school facilities, coordinating with architects, builders, and
contractors to ensure the school is ready for opening.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the school's curriculum, collaborating with educational experts
to ensure it meets the students' needs and aligns with the school's philosophy and standards.
• Engage with legal professionals to ensure all legal requirements associated with opening the school are met.
Important skills:
• Possess strong leadership skills and team management abilities.
• Display strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate significant experience in project management, a crucial requirement for overseeing the process of
opening a new school.
• Exhibit skills in timeline management.
• Have a basic understanding of contract law, employment law, and educational law in accordance with UAE
regulations.
• Show innovative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Have the ability to envision the direction of the school and align resources and strategies to meet these goals.
• Possess strong public relations and marketing skills.
Requirements:
• Holder of a Master's Degree or higher in Education Administration or Business Administration.
• Familiarity with the UAE's educational system, standards, and regulations, including those set by KHDA
(Knowledge and Human Development Authority).
• Previous experience with school startups, strategic planning, and project management will be considered an
advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years' extensive experience in Dubai, UAE.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous.
