Global Procurement Expeditor

The main duty of this position is to expedite the progress of projects, specifically in cases where there are delays in the schedule, particularly in regards to factory visits. The following are the primary responsibilities:
- Facilitate and expedite the submission of vendor documents, and provide a mitigation plan and submission schedule in cases where delays occur.
- Manage the preparation of pre-inspection meetings, and provide a target date for completion.
- Monitor and expedite the progress of sub-orders and the receipt of raw materials, ensuring that relevant proof is verified.
- Supervise and expedite the progress of factory fabrication and inspection.
- Monitor and expedite the progress of product delivery.
- In cases where delays occur, the supplier is responsible for providing a mitigation plan to ensure timely completion.
- After each factory visit, an expediting report must be issued to document progress made and identify areas where further improvements can be made.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule and to the required quality standards. They will be required to work closely with suppliers, project managers, and other team members to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, with a major in purchasing and supply management.
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in expediting EPC projects, with preference given to those with similar purchasing experience in ADNOC/ARAMCO projects.
- Be proficient in English, Microsoft Office, and computers in general.
- Have a thorough understanding of procurement workflows and supplier management.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and judgment skills, with the ability to retrieve and organize information effectively.
